Overview of the Role

Success in this role is leveraging your knowledge gained by years of experience as a strategic executive leader in developing and implementing organization-wide technology strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Define technology vision in support of the organization’s responsibly aggressive growth objectives;
  • Oversee and lead the engineering roadmap with a focus on long-term vision;
  • Communicate technology strategies with all Brane-iacs, partners, Board members, and investors;
  • Represent Brane’s technology solution to prospective and existing customers as needed;
  • Identify and implement new technologies that enable competitive advantage;
  • Create and maintain an extensive network of strategic partnerships;
  • Help to identify, partner and lead integration with institutional clients and channel partners;
  • Support acquisition due diligence and post-merger integration with respect to technology strategy, future state design and security infrastructure;
  • Account for the customer experience in influencing and implementing strategic technology solutions;
  • Engage and partner with internal cross-functional stakeholders to promote technology profitability;
  • Oversee the maintenance of high standard systems that promote our commitment to: quality, documentation, automation, data protection;
  • Define, build and lead high-performing tech teams;
  • Lead and act as a mentor across a diverse tech team;
  • Foster a culture of continuous innovation with the technology group!

Must Haves

  • Knowledge gained by years of experience in a CTO or similar senior leadership role building large-scale technology solutions in a public company;
  • Proven track record in defining strategic technology vision in bold new industries, preferably in the fintech or blockchain space;
  • Experience leading large multi-national teams;
  • Demonstrable success leading technology strategy and teams in financial services;
  • Understanding of blockchain technology;
  • Known for having stellar interpersonal skills;
  • Passion and experience partnering with the business in a fast-paced, “roll-up-your-sleeves”, tech scale-up!

Nice to Haves

  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology;
  • Deep understanding of financial services industry.
